About three years ago, I started a live, "Music Marketing Podcast" where I took phone calls and answered questions from Music Marketing [dot] com readers. Then I got busy with other projects and dropped the ball...
Now that my new book has been released, I'm 100% back in the game and the podcast is back as well. Like the old version, this one is co-hosted by Wendy Wallace, who has worked with me to help market music since 2006.
This is a bit different than my broadcast radio show, Music Business Radio. It's not nearly as polished and focuses entirely on music marketing for independent musicians.
The first episode, linked below, was actually a test recording. We wanted to try a few different mic placements, get a rough format together, and test some other "housekeeping" things before doing something official.
But if you've read my book, you'll know that "perfect is the enemy of good." And following my own advice, I've decided to release this "rough draft."
So here it is. This episode is about how to win people over when doing a gig.
