Hi David,
Thanks for coming to the CD release show. I wanted to add that the pricing for the event was based on some previous events at the Steinway Gallery that were very successful. I often play low-dough (or free) shows, so I made sure to make discounted tickets available, do ticket/CD giveaways and have a nice generous guest list. I think it's all about experimenting to see what gets traction.
