Love this post - especially #4 about writing back. This should also be done with Twitter (as opposed to just spamming about how people should by your album).

I wish more musicians thought about fan appreciation. Thanks for the post.

Great post. Whenever I'm thinking about these things, I try to consider, "What would I want from my favourite artists?" and it is something personal like writing back, or something like a free song now and then. Fantastic suggestions, thanks a lot!
