Simon's a douche and I pray he never enjoys anything I create because that will mean it's good.
However I think it's odd that the internet culture of amateur performance/production has now lead to a style of humor that manufactures amateur-ness as a vehicle.

Its pathetic. But, Simon's story is no joke. He really knows what he's doing and has paid dues and all that. He's not like the contestants on any of these shows.

Fantastic way to launch their act and get some exposure. Great to see they're following up the televised audition with lots of Youtube videos to keep the momentum going.
