I got ripped off by Talent 2 K and their affiliate down the hall . They are a ripoff and the owners should be put in jail for one mail fraud , theft by deception and many other charges . I would not only advise anyone to steer clear of them as we lost over $3,000.00 to them and their affiliate but to call their state attorney general , Better Business Bureau and the Postal Inspectors because they solicit by mail which is mail fraud , Several other groups that I know got ripped of by them and by a phony offer with their self owned JetStream Records . Ripoff Ripoff Ripoff ...

I ALSO HAVE BEEN RIPPED OF BY CARLO ODDO & TALENT 2K 4 AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT.TALENT 2K WILL PROMISE AN RECORD DEAL OR YOUR MONEY BACK , BUT ALL YOU'LL RECEIVE IS DEALS FROM HIS AFFILIATES SUCH AS JETSPEED RECORDS ETC. AFTHER YOU FINISH PAYING THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONIES IT'LL BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT THEM 4 AN FOLLOW UP ON YOUR PROJECT. I WOULD LUV 2 SEE 1 PERSON THAT HAS RECEIVED A REFOUND FOR SUCH SERVICES.I WAS TOLD MAJOR LABELS WERE REVEIWING MY PROJECT WITH HIGH INTEREST SUCH AS DREAMWORKS WHO "THAY SAID" OFFERED AN 2 MILLION DOLLAR DEAL BUT THAY NEEDED ADDITIONAL MONIES FROM ME 2 CLOSE THE DEAL.I FELT SOMTHING WAS FUNNY ABOUT THAT BUT LIKE MANY OF YOU I PAID TO ONLY RECEIVE EMPTY POCKETS. I ENCORAGE ALL SEEKING PROFESSIONL REPRESONTATION FROM TK TO FIRST DO EXTENSIVE RESERACH ON THE COM THOW THE BBB & FORMER CLIENTS BEFORE PERCEEDING...

Mr. Oddo and his staff have been theives in the night. They even rip me off too with their little scam they rob me and they rob God cause what I'm doing was for the Lord, and they do answer phone calls, reply to e-mails so I gonna go to the BBB, State proscuter Az.They need a long rest in jail.

They do not answer phone calls or e-mail their scam artist we all should proscute them to the fullest. Cause they are nothing more than con-artist who seek those that are trying to make a differents in their lives. They are robbing people in plain sight. And we at 3:16 are going into action to put a end to their unjustly efforts!

I will be compiling information for a book in the direct and near future about Talent2k, deftone records, jetspeed, sonic wave international and others. I will be posting ads everywhere to expose them.
I am not a competitor or a jealous talent agent. I am a singer/songwriter who was used and taken. The sad thing for them is that i am a compulsive individual hell bent on revenge. I have requested them to take me off their featured artists page and to refund what i have paid, but i'm not holding my breath on that one. As far as i'm concerned, i paid enough money to have bought the right to expose them for who they really are.

I too was ripped off by Talent 2000. Approximately 7 years ago I was told "numerous large record labels were interested in my music." I was sent on an audition half way across the country, just to discover that the people conducting the audition thought that Talent 2000 was a joke also. Stay Away. Bad Bad Bad. Would not return phone calls, took approximately $1000 throughout the process. STEER CLEAR!

Unfortunately there are dozens of these "Make You A Star Deals" Record Labels. they give the rest of us who are honest a bad taste in our mouth. No one is telling you the truth if they promise you that they can get you a record deal.
believe me it's not that easy we have been in the business for 25 years.

Well, I too was "signed" to Talent 2K. Good thing I came across this site other wise I would have signed to their phony record label, Sonic Wave International Records, which by the way they asked me for an additional $2,000.00. I knew it was too good to be true!
June 18, 2005 at 11:33 PM
the date right now is June 27, 2005, and we are still waiting to get our money back from these idiots!they scamed us back on January 14,2004. Is there no justice in this country?

This company is a real serious confidence scam.
You say you are talented,
and then they say give us
money.Do not give money to
anyone that calls you a
star. Thank you,.

ALWAYS REMEMBER!!! Your talent is your fee. Never pay money to persuade someone to beleive in it. If someone has "real resources" they'll pay!

I received a deal from this talent agency. But in the past I was signed with Sonic Wave, they're a major label, and I received a grammy consideration and made a lot of money in my first two years. I doubt that any thing bad has anything to do with this label. I suspect some of you didn't get the deals you were looking for? Anyway, at least go to the store and buy my CD!

Talent 2K Scam
Talent 2K offers music groups a paid program to shop their music for a record or management deal. They maintain that if after 8 months there have been no contracts offered the music group will get a full refund. I signed a contract with Talent 2K and paid them $995.00 to do this. They kept in contact with me for about 2 months and mailed me 2 progress reports and then I never heard from them again. After the 8 month the program was over they still refused to answer any e-mails or return any phone messages. Finally I filed a dispute with the Better Business Bureau and found that dozens of other complaints had been filed by other bands and that they had an Unsatisfactory record with the BBB (see link below).
They did respond once to the complaint and fabricated a record of times which they had contacted me (once a week for the entire 8 months or some outlandish lie to that effect) and they told the BBB that they had retained 2 contracts for me and therefore I was not contractually eligible for a refund. I had never been told about any contracts secured for me by Talent 2K. The BBB asked for a copy of these contracts twice over a 3 month period and Talent 2K refused to respond.
I am now in the process of hiring a lawyer to take them to court in their own state (Arizona) and I will have to drive out there from California to go to court. I will ask the judge that Talent 2K reimburse me for all legal fees and travel expenses and for the $2,000.00 worth of CDs and DVDs I mailed to them to send out to record companies, in addition to the 995.00 refund.
When I go to court I anticipate one of two outcomes. Either a representative that I subpoena from the company will show up and purger himself in court the same way they lied to the BBB at which time it will be up to the judge to decide which side has more evidence, or nobody from the company will show up and there will be a judgment of about $4000.00 placed against the company. In either case I would then have to try to collect on judgment which would be an entirely new problem.
It is possible that this company actually did shop my music for a record deal and could not secure one and didn’t want to give me my refund, but they have lied, refused to answer any calls or e-mails, and been unethical in so many other ways that, at this point, I really doubt that they did anything. In my opinion the company is set up to scam money from struggling musicians who are not usually business savvy enough to defend themselves legally.
I just thought that anyone who wants to get involved with this company should read my story first. If anyone needs information about how to file a law suit or defend themselves against this company for similar reasons feel free to contact me from my web site.

I got scam for talent 2k in 2006. They got me for $3500.00. I saw there music ad in a few top music magazines. I thought they were legit. I did some research and found some bad things but still i invested. After 8 month the only contract i was offered were from sonic wave international. I gave them $2,000.00 to help launch cd. I even gave them $500.00 to be a compilation cd with other artist. I tried manys times to contact them. Still today I haven't got any response from them. I am speaking with attorney about filing a law suit. I don't know if anything will come up it but im gonna try!!!

I myself SinCere have recently hooked up with Talent 2K, but I chose the 400 dollars package because of so much drama happenning with different people situations. The only offers I had was from Sonic Wave International myself. Things seem legit, but I'm not the type of person to rush my way to stardom. Some of you made the mistake of not knowing the business too well, and making wise choices that are acceptance to you no matter what the outcome is. I haven't signed contract yet, This could be an opportunity to flip this music shit, the way I want to do it. It's just another hustle at the end of the day. Distribution deals are different from Major Record Deals, so never forget that to those wanting to use Talent 2K as services. It's better than sitting on your ass waiting for someone to slap you in the face with a record deal.
